The
relationship between acne and food.
If hormones are responsible
for a person’s well being then hormones are responsible for a
persons disorder,
Hormone imbalance can wreak
havoc on your war against acne,
Some of the most powerful
chemicals in your body are hormones; hormones are
biochemical’s produced in
special glands, when present in the bloodstream they give instructions
to your
body’s cells, they are made from components of your food.
Hormonal imbalance can be
corrected through making changes in your diet.
The
medical profession denies that food has anything to do
with acne.
Acne is an inflammatory process, and the types of food we
eat can certainly influence inflammation,
There are many websites
echoing what the medical profession is saying, these websites are also
selling
topical products and over the counter pills to you the consumer, I am
not
saying that the products don’t work, what I will say though
is, none of the
products for sale will ever cure your acne, if you have a degree
success with
these products, will you be able to stop using them when you are acne
free? I
doubt it very much, which is why it is important to get to the root of
the acne
problem. It is no good to just treat the symptoms; the problem will
keep on
coming back the moment you stop your treatment, you must treat the
cause.
Acne
is simply a way of telling us that there is disharmony
inside the body, all you have to do is correct this disharmony and the
acne
will disappear, for the majority of acne sufferers it is that simple.
So
why don’t the medical profession or the big
pharmaceutical companies advocate this and do more to encourage this
simple
natural way of thinking?
Money!!!
The medical profession can be forgiven; in my
opinion many areas of the teaching practices of the medical
establishment are
just out of date.
As
far as the pharmaceutical companies are concerned its
all about the money,
Yeah
sure there has to be some kind of success or you
wouldn’t keep going back and spending your money would you!
I
have had acne for 26 years, it did disappear from my face
by the age of 23, it did not leave my back until 2 years ago at the age
of 40
when only after a lot of trial and error, I had food intolerance tests
done
also, after listening to my doctor who said I would grow out of it, the
dermatologist I was referred to who said acne is not curable but it can
be
treated with medication, and finally the hospital where I underwent a
course of
treatment with antibiotics and light treatment!
Only
after all that and failing in my personal struggle
with acne did I look at my diet, which by the way I thought was already
quite
good, I stopped eating certain foods, and started eating more whole
foods, over
a relative short period of time my acne disappeared, as a test I
re-introduced
certain foods and my acne returned, not immediately but it did return,
so I
know beyond a shadow of a doubt, the food we eat is the basis of many
disorders
and hormonal imbalance is one of the major underlying factors, eat the
right
balance of nutritious food and your body will love you for it,
especially your
skin.
Final
thoughts!
If
food was not connected to
acne breakouts in certain people then wouldn’t it be fair to
say that food is not connected to weight gain or diabetes or heart disease,
allergies, eczema, I could go on but I think you might be getting the picture.
